Custom Wall Decals. Design it Yourself.
When designing your own custom wall decals with your own software. For example Adobe Illustrator, Coral DRAW or opensource Inkscape. Please follow the design specifications. Make your custom wall decal design scale 1:1. Use mm as the measurement unit. Design nothing in your wall decal to be smaller than 3mm. Lines need at least a width of 3mm. A dot (the smallest possible object) need to be at least 3×3 mm. Minimum height of fonts need to be at least 20mm. Script fonts at least 30mm. For smooth surfaces, for more ruff surfaces do not design any small details. But use larger elements and font sizes.
Maximum size is about 1180 x 3500 mm or 3500 x 1180 mm. If you are looking for a very large number of decals or very large decals. Contact us directly. Either by email or the contactform at the top of this website.
Most decals use only one color. If you want to use multiple colours and/or very complex wall decals. Contact us directly. Wall decals were originally only used for sign making, but wall decals have recently been added to interior decorators portfolios and have become a well known business and home decorating option.
Custom Wall Decals. Apply it Yourself.
The wall decals are easy to apply yourself. Just follow our online instructions and watch our online instruction videos. Your custom wall decal is easy to apply without bubbles and comes with transfer tape applied and with a free squeegee. Ready for application.
Extensively clean the mounting surface and the surrounding area, including you work environment. Use the supplied squeegee and card over the application-tape on the front of the wall decal to further increase the binding between the two layers. Use a flat smooth surface when doing this, like a table. Remove the backing paper from your wall decal. Carefully. When the film contains cut-outs, be very careful when removing the backing paper from your wall decal, as to not tear the film itself, when parts remain stuck to the backing paper.
When applying your bespoke wall decal, use the supplied free squeegee. Use two or more people. Start in the middle/centre of your wall decal and move horizontal with overlapping movements towards the edge of the wall decal itself. During which you hold the window film a couple centimetres (2 inches) above the surface itself. Allow the adhesive of the wall decal enough time to stick to the wall/surface. So that removing the application tape does not lift the wall decal from the wall/surface. Only remove the application tape after a couple of hours, 6 to 12 hours should be enough.
