Project Description
Stained glass window film, transparent window film, internal door
In the photo above, you can see the stained glass window film on transparent window film with a transparent stained glass design for an internal door. Stained glass designs can be printed on multiple different window films, see our overview of the different types of window film. If you desire privacy (unable to look through the stained glass window films) you can print your stained glass window film design on frosted window film or frosted window cling.
Read and follow our online instructions about design specifications while making your own window film design. You can use open source programs like Photopea, GIMP and Inkscape to make your own custom stained glass window film. If you see something you like and also want yourself, contact us by email, with your designs, measurement dimensions and wishes. You can both make a design as a vector design or a pixel design (preferably high resolution, low/lossless compression images) and upload it in one of our online window designs after you picked the window film that best suites your needs.
We can supply you with every shape of faux custom stained glass window film (square, rectangular, round/circle, oval, octagon, etc.), you require. In any colour, blue, green, orange, red, yellow, etc., you need. In any theme/style, vintage (Edwardian, Irish, Victorian, medieval, art deco, art nouveau), modern, religious (Christian, Catholic, Islamic, etc.), Gothic, rustic, realistic, fairy-tails, tropical, etc., you need.
The window film is easy to apply due to the special adhesive used, which contains air channels, so nu bubbles. You can also choose window cling (no adhesive) instead of window film. For instructions to install window film or window cling, see our instructions installing window film / cling. Make sure to not apply your custom window films in direct sunlight, make sure the temperature of the window film, the window itself and the surrounding air is -ideally- around 12 to 18 degrees Celsius. The higher the temperature (above 18C) the more difficult it is to apply the window film!
Your window film will be shipped in a study box with a free squeegee. Follow the instructions on the box. Do NOT store the window film in the box until use. Store flat your bespoke stained window film at room temperature, 15 to 18 degrees C, in a low humidity environment. Out of direct sunlight, not near a radiator/heat-source. Follow our online instructions about how to apply window film. Extensively clean the window, the window frame and the surrounding area, including you work environment. Clean it of paint, durst, dirt, flies, spiders, etc.. Watch out for your fingerprint on the window glass and the window film. Preferably installation is a 2 men/women job.
