Designing your rectangular Floor Sticker

  • Enter the size of your rectangular floor sticker in millimetres into the online designer, say 500 x 500 mm. Maximum size 1320 x 3500 mm or 3500 x 1320 mm. If you are looking for larger floor stickers. Please contact us directly by email with your wishes, dimensions and designs.

  • Make sure you are using a recent version of a modern browser like (Chrome, Safari, FireFox or Edge) without add-ons/extentions/plug-ins, like ad-block, no-script or ghostery or proxies that block certain domains.

Thus for a non-rectangular shape floor stickers contact us by email. Floor stickers can be cut into the shape of a race-track for the kids bedroom or into the shape of your corporate logo. Almost every simple shape is possible.

Instruction video – How to design your own bespoke floor sticker

Below you will find an instruction video on how to use our online designer in order to design your own bespoke/custom floor stickers.

  • Enter your texts. Re-position it at the required location. Change text alignment. Change font size and/or change font.
  • You can add additional texts to your floor sticker with the “add textarea” button. Flip texts and objects both horizontal and vertical. Add and rotate objects and/or texts on your bespoke floor sticker.
  • With the “add design” button you can upload your own image, design, logo, etc.
  • With the “copy button” you can copy objects and texts to make your custom floor sticker perfectly fit with your need. When one layer is in front of the other, you can move them forward and backward.
  • When you are finished with your bespoke floor sticker design, add it to your cart. Select “OK” to go to the payment page or “cancel” to design another custom wall design.
  • Select your country and calculate the shipping costs. Enter your email address and your billing and shipping details. Select your payment method of choice and pay. Shipment will occur in 3-5 working days.

Your bespoke floor stickers are made from high quality vinyl. Providing you with months of enjoyment. Your bespoke floor sticker is UV, scratch, weather and water resistant. And made from professional high quality vinyl.

Your floor stickers are to be applied dry, without water. The floor sticker is only suitable for short term application on flat and smooth surfaces/floors. The floor stickers have a class R9 anti-slip certification. It is very important that the floor is very clean and dry before application! This is extremely important.

Remember life expectancy of floor stickers in generally a couple of months. But this largely depends on foot traffic, weather conditions and the mounting surface itself. They are always temporary.

Only apply your custom floor stickers on normal, flat, solid and smooth surfaces. Like metal (Aluminium, DiBond/ACP, (stainless) steel) non-oil releasing plastics (Acrylic, PVC/Forex, Trespa/HPL) and wood (laminated wood/hardboard). When applying in a wet/outdoor environment the surface needs to be ideally solid (i.e., does not absorb water/liquids).

We and our customers also regularly apply floor stickers to short-hair carpets and carpet tiles, concrete, asphalt and cement surfaces without issues. But no guarantees.

Do not apply our your floor stickers on surfaces which contain water/dirt repelling paints (i.e., paints containing Teflon/silicone like substances). Do not apply your floor stickers on freshly painted surfaces, wait a couple of weeks for the water and other chemicals to thoroughly evaporate/dry out.

Our floor stickers can be used on windows, walls or tiles as branding, advertising, or decoration. Floor stickers can also serve as a tool to inform and warn people. Make sure to thoroughly clean your mounting surfaces, remove dust, grease and other dirt.

Below you find instructions on how to apply your custom floor sticker yourself.

  • Always keep your floor sticker flat so that is does not bend/fold.
  • Clean the floor thoroughly. Remove paint, grease and other dirt. Make sure the floor is VERY clean and dry before application of your floor sticker. This is extremely important!
  • Also clean the surrounding area and your work environment. Also be wear of (flying) insects. Wind, dust, dirt and sand. Lock up your pets during the application process.
  • Remove the backing paper (the white paper with grey writing on it). Carefully. When the film contains cut-outs and/or complex shapes, be very careful when removing the backing paper, as to not tear the floor sticker itself, when parts of the floor sticker (vinyl) remain stuck to the backing paper.
  • Apply your floor stickers to the floor, position the floor sticker at the preferred location.
  • Use your supplied free squeegee. Start in the middle/centre of the floor sticker and move horizontal with overlapping movements towards the edge of the floor sticker. During which you hold the film a couple centimetres (2 inches) above the surface/floor itself.
  • Repeat the following process a number of times. Use your supplied free squeegee. Start in the middle/centre of the floor sticker and move horizontal with overlapping movements towards the edge of the design/floor sticker.
  • If floor stickers have complex shapes and/or consist of multiple pieces a transfer-tape/application-tape maybe applied on top of the floor stickers.
