A1. Design instructions – Wall stickers

Simply use our online design software to design your own unique custom rectangular wall sticker. Or use your own software (Adobe Illustrator, Coral DRAW or opensource Inkscape.) and upload your design in our online designer.

Designing your rectangular Wall Sticker

  • Enter the size of your rectangular wall sticker in millimetres into the online designer, say 500 x 500 mm. Maximum size 1320 x 3500 mm or 3500 x 1320 mm. If you are looking for larger wall stickers. Please contact us by email.
  • Select the material you want. A standard vinyl wall sticker (non-laminated) for inside use or a for couple of years of outdoor use. For long term outdoor use, we advise a laminated wall sticker. If you expect a lot of wear-and-tear (vandalism), and/or use the film outdoors/outside, and/or in high traffic area. We advise an overlaminate. An overlaminate provides additional protection against UV, scratches and harmful chemicals.
  • Do you already have a design? You can upload your using the “Add Design” on the left side of the online designer.
  • For cut-to-shape designs (i.e., non-rectangular designs), contact us directly by email with your wishes, dimensions and designs.
  • If you require non-western texts (Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin, Sanskrit, etc.) please contact us by email with your design.
  • Make sure you are using a recent version of a modern browser like (Chrome, Safari, FireFox or Edge) without add-ons/extentions/plug-ins, like ad-block, no-script or ghostery or proxies that block certain domains.

There are 3 options for your wall sticker.

  1. A rectangular wall sticker with your design on it, which you can design using the online designer.
  2. A cut-to-shape design with a (white) border around the design.
  3. A cut-to-shape design without anything around your wall sticker design.

Instruction video – How to design your custom wall sticker

Below you will find an instruction video on how to use our online designer in order to design your own custom wall sticker.

  • Enter your texts. Re-position it at the required location. Change text alignment. Change font size and/or change font.
  • You can add additional texts to your wall sticker with the “add textarea” button. Flip texts and objects both horizontal and vertical. Add and rotate objects and/or texts on your bespoke wall sticker.
  • With the “add design” button you can upload your own image, design, logo, etc.
  • With the “copy button” you can copy objects and texts to make your wall sticker fit with your need. When one layer is in front of the other, you can move them forward and backward.
  • When you are finished with your custom wall sticker design, add it to your cart. Select “OK” to go to the payment page or “cancel” to design another custom wall design.
  • Select your country and calculate the shipping costs. Enter your email address and your billing and shipping details. Select your payment method of choice and pay. Shipment will occur in 3-5 working days.

A2. Material information – Wall Stickers

Your custom wall sticker will be of professional high quality vinyl. For (long) (outdoor) durability. Highly weather, water and UV resistant.

Your bespoke wall sticker is made from high quality vinyl. Providing you with years of enjoyment. Your bespoke wall sticker is UV, weather and water resistant. And made from professional high quality vinyl. The backside of your wall sticker is mostly grey (sometimes white).

Your custom/bespoke wall stickers without a laminate, is suitable for long term indoor use (no/little exposure to UV and/or scratches), and for outdoor use for a couple of years. Wall stickers with a laminate are suitable for long term outdoor use. And for locations with extensive UV exposure and/or high-traffic areas. As an over-laminate provides extra protection against UV-degradation, scratches and harmful chemicals.

Our wall stickers can be applied on windows, walls or tiles as branding, advertising, or decoration. Wall stickers can also serve as a tool to warn and/or inform people.

You will receive your custom wall sticker with transfer tape applied and a free squeegee (for large wall stickers). Use your hands/fingers for small wall stickers. No additional tools are required. Your bespoke wall sticker will be easy to apply yourself without any bubbles. Make sure to thoroughly clean your walls, remove dust, grease and other dirt before application.

Only apply your custom wall sticker on normal, flat, solid and smooth surfaces. Like metal (Aluminium, DiBond/ACP, (stainless) steel) non-oil releasing plastics (Acrylic, PVC/Forex, Trespa/HPL) and wood (laminated wood/hardboard). When applying in a wet/outdoor environment the mounting surface needs to be flat and solid (i.e., does not absorb water/liquids).

Do not apply our wall sticker solutions on walls which contain water/dirt repelling paints/coating (i.e., paints/coatings containing Teflon/silicone or similar like substances, that are applied to a wall to make water/dirt/etc. not stick to walls). Similarly, wall stickers do not stick to low-surface-energy plastics. Do not apply your wall sticker on freshly painted walls, wait a couple of weeks for the water and other chemicals to thoroughly evaporate/dry out.

B. Apply it Yourself – Custom wall stickers

Your custom wall sticker will arrive in a sturdy box (pre-assembled with transfer-tape applied) and with a free squeegee. No additional tools required. Below you find instructions on how to apply your custom wall sticker. You have been supplied with bubble free wall sticker. So you do not need to use any water.

  • Always keep your bespoke wall stickers flat so that they do not bend/fold.
  • Make sure to not apply wall stickers in direct sunlight, make sure the temperature of your bespoke wall stickers, the wall itself and the surrounding air is -ideally- around 12 to 18 degrees Celsius. When the temperature is above 18 degrees we advise you to not apply your bespoke wall stickers.
  • Clean the wall/mounting-surface thoroughly. Remove paint, grease and other dirt.
  • Also clean the surrounding area. If you are applying near the ceiling and/or the ground make sure they are also clean. Also be wear of flying insects. Lock-up your pets.
  • Use the supplied squeegee and card over the application-tape on the front of your wall sticker to further increase the binding between the two.  Use a flat surface, like a smooth table surface.
  • Remove the backing paper. Carefully.
  • Apply your bespoke wall sticker with the application-tape to the wall/mounting-surface, position it at the preferred location.
  • Use your supplied free squeegee. Start in the middle/centre of the wall film and move horizontal with overlapping movements towards the edge of your wall sticker. During which you hold your wall sticker a couple centimetres (2 inches) above the wall/mounting-surface itself. Use 2 people (or 3 especially for large wall films of a couple of square meters)!
  • Check to see if there is still any air trapped between your wall sticker and the wall/mounting-surface itself. In the rare occasion that air is still trapped between the wall film and the window sticker. Gently push the air bubble to the edge of the wall film. No need to use force. If you do not succeed, use a pinprick to burst the air bubble.
  • Allow the adhesive enough time to stick to the wall/mounting-surface. So that removing the application tape does not lift your custom wall sticker from the wall/mounting-surface. Remove the application tape after a couple of hours, 6 to 12 hours should be enough.
  • If, when removing the application tape, you lift your sticker from the wall/mounting-surface. Wait 24 to 48 hours before removing the application tape.

Due to the high quality characteristics of your bubble-free wall stickers, your wall stickers can be applied in almost every location, knowingly; bathroom, (children’s) bedroom, indoor, outdoor, living room, kitchen, nursery, office, restaurant, shop, store, etc..
